We’re proud to share that FloVision, a Rockstart AgriFood portfolio company, has raised an $8.7M Series A round led by Insight Partners, with participation from Serra Ventures, SOSV, and Rockstart.
This investment will help FloVision scale globally, expand its team across engineering, AI/ML, and sales, and continue advancing its mission: bringing real-time, data-driven decision-making to food processing facilities.
AI for Real-Time Food Processing Insights
FloVision builds AI-powered tools that help food processors measure yield, monitor quality, and improve labor performance in real time. Its compact sensors attach to conveyor belts and workstations, scanning each product with vision, depth, and load cell sensors as it moves through the line. This allows processors to:
- Analyze yield, quality, and staff performance on a per-piece basis without disrupting production.
- Detect defects, misgrades, and foreign materials in real time, triggering automatic alerts.
- Capture traceability data from origin to delivery.
All data flows into a centralized dashboard that enables supervisors to spot trends and compare performance across shifts to make faster action. With FloVision, food producers get the insights they need to improve operations and output.

Proven Results Across Global Markets
Since launching in 2020, FloVision has processed over 23.2 million kilograms [51.1 million lbs] of food in beef and poultry plants across North America, Europe, and Australia. Customers have recovered up to 1.5% more yield, improved quality control and efficiency.
