We’re pleased to announce that we’re going to be working with the great people over at Mozilla’s WebFWD program to help grow their open innovation offering here, by sourcing the best startups from throughout Europe. We’ll be on the hunt for great projects that will work together in both programs, literally getting the best from both worlds!
WebFWD supports Open Source projects which extend the Web; providing participants with mentorship from industry experts, access to the Mozilla global network, infrastructure and other world-class resources.
We wholeheartedly support Mozilla’s ethos of supporting open sourced startups to extend the web in better ways is something that we whole hearted agree with. We’re focused on bringing the best minds together to Amsterdam to create the next batch of the globe’s best startups, and together, we’re excited to see how we can work together.
WebFWD offers teams in the program regular 1-on-1 mentoring with Mozillians and their worldwide network of teams, mentors, partners and scouts. Their mentors include awesome superstars such as Guy Kawasaki, Pascal Finette & Enrique Allen.
They also offer their teams regular visits to Silicon Valley to provide deeper insight & mentoring, providing access to work with some of brightest minds in the web industry at present. On top of this, they will be providing some awesome goodies through their partner network.
We’re thrilled to be working with them, and look forward to creating some of the worlds most innovative and diverse open source startups together.
Know of some open source startups that would be a fit for our program? Invite them personally to join the Rockstart Accelerator!!
