Apply

Rockstart Accelerator is looking for world-class teams who build exciting, scalable products that target a large new market, or an old market ready for disruption. You can apply for Rockstart Accelerator whether you have already founded your startup, with or without (potential) customers and (seed) funding, or just have a great team & concept. From all the applications we receive, we will select 10 teams to invest in. Not making the final lot, does not mean that you shouldn’t start a new company or that we cannot help you.

Our promise to applicants:

You’re unique.

There is no such thing as one size, fits all. We believe that the value of a world-class accelerator program is that it’s tailored, to you. This starts all the way from the application, meaning we will always answer all of your questions, tweets and messages personally.

Pay forward.

If we see you have challenges with specific things that we know someone in our network can help with, we’re happy to reach out to them and connect you.

Great feedback.

If you make amongst top 70, we will have a Skype conversation with you. We will cut directly to the case and be really straight-forward with you.

It’s about your vision.

If you’re building a technological product/platform/service; we will never ask you to do coding tests. They don’t measure creativity, perseverance and we’re much more interested in discussing the building blocks of your technology and the reason and vision behind certain decisions.

Selections days in Amsterdam

The selection process consists of four rounds, including in-depth analysis and Skype / face-to-face interviews in later rounds. We will personally notify you at every step along the way, but be aware that the process is intense and that you will have to come to Amsterdam for at least two days. These are the four rounds you will have to go through to be accepted into the program.

  • First round: Skype call with at least one Rockstart Founder
  • Second round: Skype call with up to three members of the selection committee. Your startup might have to go through technical due diligence and team evaluation.
  • Third round (13th-14th of February): Top 25 startups are invited to Amsterdam to pitch to all the mentors – based on their feedback the ten top startups are selected.
  • Fourth round: Personal and team test, profiling and skill-set evaluation.
