Major Partnerships in Silicon Valley and Europe
We are extremely happy to announce another set of major partnerships we have been working on for the last couple of weeks.
Today, we announce partnerships with a number of globally renowned tech organizations including Google, Microsoft BizSpark, Mozilla WebFWD and StartupHouse.
The partnership organizations will support our accelerator program in the following ways:
- Google: Our 10 Rockstart Accelerator teams will not only visit the Google headquarters in Mountain View for a few days, but will also get a chance to spend time with the Google developer team pulling apart their code to see what can be done better. The teams will also spend time with Don Dodge, Developer Advocate at Google, who will mentor the Rockstart Accelerator teams on product development and startup life.
- Microsoft BizSpark Plus Program: Microsoft BizSpark is a global program designed to help accelerate the success of early stage startups. The new BizSpark Plus Program is an extension of Microsoft BizSpark, designed to provide high potential startups with additional offers, products and services from Microsoft, available through select incubators and accelerators. Their first offer, Windows Azure for BizSpark Plus, helps cover a startup’s cloud computing costs. Windows Azure is a simple, reliable, and powerful cloud-computing platform for hosting applications and the creation of web applications and services. Through this offer, startups will get up to $60K of value over two years.
- Mozilla WebFWD: WebFWD supports Open Source projects that extend the Web; providing participants with mentorship from industry experts, access to the Mozilla global network, infrastructure and other world-class resources. WebFWD offers the Rockstart Accelerator teams regular one-on-one mentoring with Mozillians and their worldwide network of teams, mentors, partners and scouts including tech superstars such as Guy Kawasaki, Pascal Finette and Enrique Allen. Read more about the details on this page here.
- StartupHouse: All 10 Rockstart Accelerator teams will be invited to stay at and use the Startup House in San Francisco as a base for their daily operations during the 25-day Silicon Valley road trip. The teams will have the opportunity to live, work and play all under the same roof, and will be joined with a number of in-house startups and other international visitors to bring together a large melting pot of entrepreneurial energy.
We’re thrilled to be working in partnership with Google, Microsoft BizSpark, Mozilla WebFWD and StartupHouse.
