Lisa is an entrepreneur, investor and author of the bestselling book, The Mesh: Why the Future of Business is Sharing and the creator of Mesh Labs and the Mesh Directory at, www.meshing.it , a global community of organizations, agencies and companies working in the Share Economy. Lisa invests, advises, speaks and writes internationally on topics of the Share Economy or Mesh.

 

Her passion and focus is in reducing our negative impact on our ecosystems by recovering value from what has historically been considered waste. Mesh Labs works in partnership with companies, communities and local governments to accelerate the development of technologies & services which enable real time yield management, particularly in cities.

 

For 18 years, Lisa has been a serial entrepreneur, marketect and environmentalist focused on building companies and supporting ventures where there is an opportunity for well timed disruption and a resounding impact. A founder and CEO of several internet companies, including GNN (the first web portal sold to AOL) and the largest consumer photo sharing and print service, Ofoto (now, Kodak Gallery). She puts a strong emphasis on the exploration of new technologies, platforms & business models through access based strategies and shareable product and service design.

 

Lisa currently serves as Founder and Chief Instigator of Mesh Labs and she is a director and investor in several ventures including: Gedden, GreenBiz, Honest Buildings, Instructables, Loosecubes, MePlease, Mingoville, New Resource Bank, Makani Power, Squidoo, RelayRides, TaskRabbit and Vayable.
